Foreign financial aid to Ukraine reached the lowest level!
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik, the analysis and evaluation of the data of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine shows that the total foreign financial aid to this country since the beginning of the Russian attack in February 2022 has decreased to a monthly average of 1 9 billion euros (2 billion dollars) in the first half of 2024, has fallen to the lowest level!
According to the data, in 2022, Ukraine received an average of $2.9 billion per month from 17 countries plus the European Union. The United States with 11.4 billion, the European Union with 7.6 billion and Canada with 1.8 billion euros were respectively the biggest sponsors of Kyiv.
A year later, 13 countries, together with the European Union, which became the largest donor to Ukraine with 18.1 billion euros, gave the country an average of 3 billion euros per month. they helped America with 10.1 and Japan with 3.4 billion euros were ranked second and third.
According to the data, Austria, Albania, France, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania and Latvia did not provide any financial aid to Ukraine last year. This year, Kyiv received financial aid from the European Union, Canada, Japan, Norway, Spain and England, and monthly allocations decreased to 1.9 billion euros!
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced in early June that Ukraine will receive 1.5 billion euros in advance of interest on Russia’s frozen assets in July. Also, the European Union is supposed to help Kyiv by another 1.9 billion euros by the end of June.
Earlier, experts explained to Sputnik that the people of Western countries are getting tired of the crisis in Ukraine and do not want their government to send more aid to the corrupt Kiev regime.
Since February 2022, Western countries have always encouraged the prolongation of the war by sending extensive military and financial aid to Ukraine. The Kremlin has emphasized that these weapons and aid will only lead to the escalation of the war and will not change its final result.
