The American captain’s admission of weakness against Yemen

The captain of an American ship that has just returned from the Red Sea emphasized that American forces cannot deal with all attacks in Yemen.

The American CBS news network interviewed Jeremy Robertson, the captain of the American destroyer USS Carney, regarding the challenges in the Red Sea caused by the operations of the Yemeni armed forces that target the Zionist ships and sanctions violators in support of Gaza.

According to the Al-Mayadeen report, Robertson said in his interview: Last May, the destroyer USS Carney returned home in Mayport, Florida at the end of a 7-month trip to the West Asia. 

The American captain said about confronting the Yemeni forces: “It has been a long time since no US Navy ship has fought such a battle since World War II.” 

Recounting the events of the Red Sea, Robertson admitted that Yemeni ballistic missiles worried him the most and added: “You’re looking at something coming towards you at Mach 5 or 6, and you’re 15 to 30 You have seconds to make a decision. 

He revealed that this was the Navy’s first real test of a hypersonic missile ever, explaining that the computer would determine where the missile was going and what the altitude and all the specifications would be, but humans had to push the buttons. give.

By confirming that the American destroyer is firing $1 million missiles at the $1,000 drones, he admitted that the Carney ship and other naval ships patrolling the Red Sea are not capable of repelling all Yemeni attacks.

Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansarullah movement, emphasized that the advanced missile capabilities of the Yemeni armed forces cannot be avoided or prevented, and said that operations in Yemen clearly affect the American, Zionist and British forces.
