Bolton: Hagest Lacks Capability for US War Department Role

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton stated in an interview with MS Nova that Pete Hagest, the US Secretary of War, had previously applied to President Trump for the position of “Pentagon Spokesperson.” This role was considered a highly suitable option for him given his background.

The former White House National Security Advisor further elaborated that the current responsibilities assigned to Hagest far exceed his capabilities and limits. Bolton highlighted that Hagest has not addressed critical issues such as Russia’s nuclear armament in comparison to the United States, and similar matters concerning China. These represent major strategic areas that the Secretary of War should be concerned with.

John Bolton added that there is no indication of such concerns being present from Pete Hagest.
