The majority of Zionists support the peace agreement with Hamas

A deep rift has formed in the cabinet of the Zionist regime regarding the peace agreement with Hamas for the exchange of prisoners. Although far-right ministers are looking for the continuation of the war in Gaza, polls show that the public is in favor of reaching an agreement with Hamas. 

According to Al Jazeera, new polls in the occupied territories show that the majority of Zionists are in favor of negotiations with Hamas in order to exchange prisoners and the complete withdrawal of this regime’s military from Gaza. 

This survey shows that 56% of Zionists support the agreement with Hamas. Also, nearly 30% are in favor of reaching an agreement with Hamas in order to establish a temporary ceasefire in Gaza. 

Regarding the northern front and the confrontation between the Zionist regime and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, 42 percent of Zionists want to reach a political solution instead of using the military option to resolve the differences with this movement. 38% of Zionists have also supported the military option against Lebanon even if this issue causes serious damage to Israel. 10% of the respondents also emphasized the continuation of the exchange of fire with Hezbollah in the northern borders at the current level. 
Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition cabinet includes several right-wing parties. 44% of the respondents believed that the difference between Orthodox parties and other parties in Netanyahu’s cabinet will be the main reason for the collapse of the cabinet. 

The Likud party led by Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as extremist ministers such as Betzalel Smotrich, the Minister of Finance and Itmar Ben Gower, the Minister of Internal Security of the Zionist regime, are strongly opposed to stopping the war in Gaza. Meanwhile, other political parties in the occupied territories are seeking to withdraw the Zionist army from the Gaza swamp after 9 months of bloody war.
