9 people from the crew of the sunken oil tanker were found alive

The Oman Maritime Security Center announced that 9 crew members of the sunken oil tanker off the coast of Oman have been found alive.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the Oman Maritime Security Center announced that nine crew members of the “Bristage Falcon” oil tanker, which overturned off the coast of Oman, were found alive.

Agence France-Presse also announced that the Indian Navy rescued these nine people.

In addition, according to the Oman Maritime Security Center report, the body of one of the crew members of this oil tanker was also found.

The Omani maritime organization stated that efforts to rescue the crew of the overturned oil tanker “Bristage Falcon” are still ongoing.

It should be noted that Oman’s state news agency announced late on Monday that an oil tanker had sunk off the coast of Oman and reported that Omani authorities had launched a search and rescue operation at the site. The accident has started with the coordination of maritime authorities.

Oman Maritime Security Center announced in a message on social networks that the crew of this oil tanker includes 13 Indian citizens and 3 Sri Lankan citizens.

Also, according to a Reuters report, citing Oman’s Maritime Security Center, the oil tanker sunk off the coast of this country is still in the sea, and it is not known whether oil or oil products It has leaked into the sea or not.

Data from shipping companies also show that this oil tanker was heading towards Yemen’s Aden port and sank in the large industrial port of Doqm, Oman.
