Japan canceled the “super earthquake” warning

Japan has lifted the safety alert a week after issuing a possible "super earthquake" warning.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Xinhua, Tokyo canceled the warning of a possible super earthquake a week after issuing it in Japan and announced that there is still a risk of an earthquake.

In this warning, people were advised to be alert but not to evacuate the areas.

It was also announced in this warning that the possibility of a large earthquake is greater than ever, but at the same time it is not imminent.

The Japanese government announced that there is no need for the citizens of this country to take special measures and special preparations and they can “resume their normal lives.”

Following the issuance of this warning, thousands of Japanese people canceled their planned trips and started gathering necessities. Also, some rail journeys with high-speed trains were also affected and canceled and postponed.

The Japan Meteorological Organization announced yesterday that it has not found or observed any activity indicating worrisome changes in the area where the possibility of a super earthquake was predicted.

However, Japan’s Crisis Management Minister Yoshifumi Matsumura announced that although the warning has been lifted, there is a possibility of a large Hachmanan earthquake.
