I reject the American attempt to be present in the executive branch of Venezuela

The president-elect of Venezuela described the US president's interventionist request for re-election as an attempt to take over the executive branch of Venezuela.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, “Nicolas Maduro”, the acting president of Venezuela, in response to the interventionist request of the US president to re-hold the presidential elections in Venezuela, emphasized, “I strongly oppose the US effort to become the executive branch of Venezuela or I reject other countries of the world”.

U.S. President Joe Biden claimed that the recent presidential elections in Venezuela were “rigged” in favor of Nicolás Maduro and that new elections should be held.

Maduro went on to add: Washington follows the imperialist policy of intervention and preaching to cover up its many internal problems.

He also said: Biden’s request (to re-hold elections in Venezuela) was rejected half an hour later by the US State Department; It is not clear who is running America.”

By publishing a statement in an interventionist action, the European Union claimed that it does not recognize the results of the Venezuelan presidential election and the victory of Nicolas Maduro, the current president of this country.

The statement of the European Union, citing the election headquarters of the defeated candidate of the Western-oriented currents and supported by the United States, adds: the electoral documents of the opposition show that “Edmundo Gonzalez” won the election with a significant majority. It will be the presidency.”

However, the European Union, unlike the United States, refused to introduce Edmundo Gonzalez as the elected president of Venezuela.

Venezuela’s presidential election was held on July 28 (August 7). The head of the National Election Council of Venezuela announced on August 13 that with 96.9% of the votes, Nicolas Maduro, the current president of the country and the candidate of the socialist and leftist parties, won 52% of the votes and “Edmundo Gonzalez”, the candidate of the extreme right-wing currents and supported America won 43.2 percent of the votes and came in second place.

However, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken issued a statement claiming that “there are clear reasons for the US government that Edmundo Gonzalez will win the Venezuelan presidential election.” “

The US Secretary of State also announced that he called Gonzalez and congratulated him on his election victory!

The head of the National Election Council of Venezuela attributed the delay in updating the results to widespread attacks against the technological infrastructure.

By questioning Maduro’s victory in the elections, Blinken accused the current Venezuelan government of rigging the election process.

However, other Latin American countries that seek to stabilize the region did not join the US in this matter and congratulated Maduro’s victory.

Now the defeated candidate of the West in the election has asked the people to come to the streets and challenge Maduro’s victory; An action that has so far caused severe clashes between the security forces and the people, especially since Venezuela has fragile conditions and there is a risk that it will fall into the abyss of problems once again.
