Borrell further emphasized: The aim of the Israeli settlers’ attacks is to terrorize Palestinian civilians.
He clarified: Israeli settlers are fueling violence in the West Bank with complete impunity and jeopardizing the opportunity for peace. The Israeli government must immediately stop the unacceptable actions of the settlers.
This senior European official noted: I will propose European sanctions against elements that support settler violence, including some members of the Israeli government.
