Germany summons the Iranian ambassador

The German Foreign Ministry announced Berlin's decision to summon Iran's ambassador in violation of the United Nations Charter regarding the necessity of non-interference in the internal affairs of independent countries.

According to Mehr News Agency, Agence France-Presse now reported with an urgent news release: The German Foreign Ministry announced that it will summon the Iranian ambassador in Berlin.

According to this news agency, Germany announced on Tuesday that it will summon the Iranian ambassador under the pretext of closing a German language institute in Tehran, in violation of the United Nations Charter regarding the necessity of non-interference in the internal affairs of independent countries.

Claiming that it condemns the action of the Iranian security authorities against the German Language Institute in Tehran, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs called this action unjustified and added: “The Iranian ambassador will be summoned.”

At this time, the Goethe Institute attached to the German Embassy in Tehran, located on South Dibaji Street, was sealed today.

The German police attacked the Hamburg Islamic Center and 54 other centers in 7 federal states in November last year under the pretext of investigating some false and undocumented claims. At that time, the German Ministry of the Interior announced by publishing a statement: The Hamburg Islamic Center and its affiliated institutions were investigated on the suspicion of acts against public order, and 54 centers in 7 federal states were inspected. In this statement, claims were made against the activities of the Hamburg Islamic Center without providing any documents.
