According to the Fars news agency reporter in Bishkek, the meeting of heads and representatives of the foreign ministries of Central Asian countries and the G7 group was held online for the first time at the initiative of the Japanese side.
The theme of this event is “Dialogue between Central Asian countries and the Group of 7: discussion on priorities and areas of cooperation”.
All the presidents and Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian countries, Group of 7 and also the European Union attended the meeting and spoke about the topic of the meeting.
Avazbek Atakhanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in this meeting on behalf of Kyrgyzstan.
Atakhanov, in his speech, welcomed The participants noted with satisfaction that in recent years, interaction in Central Asia has been actively and successfully developed in political, trade-economic, investment, transport, communication, water, energy, cultural and humanitarian fields.
He emphasized: the consultative meetings of the heads of Central Asian countries determine the dynamics and direction of regional cooperation. These meetings have become an effective platform for the heads of states to discuss and review the views and determine the key directions for future regional cooperation.
In this context, it was noted: The first economic forum of the European Union and Central Asia, which was held in Bishkek in 2021 at the level of heads of state, was an important step for trade and strengthening cooperation. .
The participants in this meeting discussed a number of important issues in the international agenda and expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue in this format.
The G7 Group is a format for dialogue and economic partnership that hosts the annual meetings of the heads of state and governments of the 7 industrialized countries of the world. This group includes France, USA, Canada, Japan, England, Italy and Germany.
