China strongly condemned the Israeli attack on UNIFIL headquarters

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Arabiya, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China strongly condemned the attack by the Zionist regime on the United Nations peacekeeping forces (UNIFIL) in southern Lebanon.

Mao Ning, the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement: “Such actions are unacceptable.” China expresses great concern and strongly condemns the attack by Israeli forces on the positions and observation posts of UNIFIL, which resulted in the injury of its personnel.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry added: Any attack on UN peacekeeping forces is a serious violation of international humanitarian law. Such actions must be stopped immediately.

He added: Beijing wants to investigate this incident, answer those responsible and take measures to prevent its recurrence.
