Nepal‘s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has reported that the devastating floods have resulted in 734 fatalities and left 2,498 individuals missing, according to the latest updates released by Tas News Agency.
Search teams have discovered bodies in numerous areas, with Chitwan reporting the highest number of casualties at 259, followed by Nawalparasi East with 184 confirmed deaths.
The Rasuwa district has recorded the largest number of missing persons, with 562 individuals still unaccounted for. Rescue and relief efforts are ongoing in the affected regions.
