, John Achakzai, Minister of Information of Balochistan province of Pakistan, in response to the Taliban government’s decision to build a dam on the river, considered it a hostile act against Pakistan.
He wrote in “X” that the Taliban is negotiating with an Indian company to build this dam and its construction will have a significant impact on the water flow of the Indus River.
Achakzai further warned: If the Afghan Taliban continues the work of this dam without including Pakistan, it will have severe consequences in the escalation of tensions and possible conflicts.
