Representative of Iran: The West’s resolution ignored Tehran’s and IAEA’s interactions

Iran's permanent representative in Vienna-based organizations criticized the approval of the anti-Iranian resolution in the Council of Governors.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, Mohsen Naziri Asal, ambassador and permanent representative of Iran in international organizations based in Vienna, approved the resolution against Iranian in the Board of Governors of the International Agency He criticized atomic energy.

He told reporters in Vienna after the voting in the Council of Governors. “The resolution of the Board of Governors was approved in the circumstances that the Director General of the Agency traveled to Iran and good promises were made in order to strengthen the cooperation between them.”

Naziri Assal stressed that this resolution does not pay attention to the promises and roadmap agreed with the Director General to move forward.

Iranian ambassador stated: Our actions are within the framework of our legitimate and legal rights and we have to see how we can move forward with the agency considering the recent developments.
