Moscow’s serious warning to Seoul about supplying weapons to Kiev
According to Mehr News Agency to According to KBS, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko says that if South Korea decides to supply weapons to Ukraine, it will face a serious reaction from Moscow.
Rudenko said that the supply of weapons to Ukraine will “completely destroy relations between Seoul and Moscow.”
Pointing out that such an action will not ensure Seoul’s security, he pledged that Russia will respond “in any way necessary”.
The senior Russian diplomat asked Seoul to carefully assess the situation and refrain from any “reckless actions” and think about long-term national interests instead of short-term opportunistic considerations.
South Korean President Yoon Seok-yul said earlier this month that Seoul would not rule out supplying weapons to Ukraine depending on the extent of North Korea’s alleged involvement and interference in the Ukraine war for the benefit of Russia.
