Russia: The current situation in the Middle East is a direct result of Israel’s aggressive policies

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced today Wednesday that “the situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate and dreams have been extended to Lebanon and other neighboring countries; And this situation is a direct result of Israel’s policies.”

Lavrov said in an interview with “Rusikayagazta” newspaper: “The situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate.” The current round of confrontation between Palestine and Israel has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people and the armed conflict has spread to Lebanon and other neighboring countries. All this situation is a direct result of Israel’s aggressive and military policy and Washington’s desire to monopolize mediation duties and sacrifice the collective decisions of the UN Security Council.

According to Lavrov, “the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon relieves the devastating situation in the Middle East.” I would like to thank France and the United States for their mediation. Now, in order to guarantee the safety of Lebanese citizens and the return of refugees, it is of great importance to observe and implement the ceasefire.
