China: We respond to the expulsion of our diplomats from Lithuania
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Rashatudi, China announced that it will respond to the expulsion of its diplomats from Lithuania.
In a statement on Monday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Lithuania’s move to expel three diplomats from this country.
In the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, there is a warning of countermeasures against Lithuania.
On Friday, Beijing also described the expulsion of its diplomats from Lithuania as an unwanted and provocative act and declared: it reserves the right to take countermeasures against Lithuania.
On Friday, the Lithuanian government declared three employees of the Chinese diplomatic mission in this country as undesirable elements. According to Lithuania, this action was carried out due to the violation of the Vienna Convention and Lithuanian laws by these people.
Lithuania ordered Chinese diplomats to leave the country within a week.
