France: Israel should leave the Golan and respect the territorial integrity of Syria

reported Mehr news agency quoted by Al Jazeera, the French Foreign Ministry announced in a statement today: We ask Israel to withdraw from the Golan region and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.

The statement issued by the French Foreign Ministry in this regard states: We renew our full support for the UN forces to monitor the non-conflict in the Golan.

The said statement adds: Paris wants to maintain the security of UN forces.
