According to Fars News Agency, a source close to US President Joe Biden told the Washington Post that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is strongly opposed to handing over the governance of Gaza to the self-governing organizations.
This source added that Netanyahu proposed the occupation of Gaza, which is disappointing for the US government.
Before this, Israeli and American officials have claimed in public statements that the Zionist regime does not intend to occupy Gaza.
