Syrian official: Qatar and Türkiye resume flights to Syria
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, “Ashhad Al-Salibi”, the director of airport affairs coordination Syria stated: We are trying to face the existing challenges to give space to international flights.
The Director of Coordination of Syrian Airport Affairs announced: We need to work within the framework of high security standards in the shadow of the proliferation of weapons. to do We discussed and consulted with the Qatari delegation to implement some reforms in the airport with the aim of launching it.
Al-Salabi continued: We are working day and night to open the airport and we need strict security measures. We anticipate that the airport’s security protocol will be completed in the next few days.
Syrian airport coordination director added: We are cooperating with Qatar and Turkey for the full launch of Damascus airport. Qatar and Turkish airlines will be the first to resume their flights to Syria.
