More than 14,000 people have been arrested in the West Bank since the beginning of the war against Gaza
reported Mehr News Agency, citing the Palestinian Information Center, the Palestinian Prisoners Information Office announced by publishing a statement that official statistics show that 14,300 Palestinians have been arrested since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s war against the Gaza Strip (October 7, 2023).
As stated in this report, “Only in 2024, the Zionist occupying forces arrested 8,800 Palestinians.” This statistic shows the intensification of the oppressive measures of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian nation in these occupied areas.
The aforementioned office pointed out that 266 of the detainees are women and 1055 are children.
There are also 320 doctors and 145 journalists among those arrested. 54 people who were arrested died in the prisons of the Zionist regime. 10,000 people are in temporary detention without trial and explanation of charges.
