Moscow: We do not intend to attack NATO countries

A senior Russian diplomat emphasized that this country has no intention or plan to attack NATO countries.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, Vladislav Maslennikov, the deputy director of the European Affairs Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, says that despite the low level of relations between Moscow and NATO, Russia does not intend to attack the member countries of this military alliance led by the United States.

Maslennikov told “Izvestia” newspaper: relations between Russia and NATO are not only at their lowest point since the end of the Cold War, but this alliance is clearly on the path of confrontation with our country. He has gone ahead and claimed a “threat” from our side!

Indicating that this is a general practice in NATO, he added: However, Russia has never sought to intensify relations with NATO, but this alliance is fully responsible for the deterioration of relations. . We do not intend to attack NATO countries, nor do we have such hostile plans.
