According to the report of Fars News Agency, the Arab League held an extraordinary meeting in Saudi Arabia on Friday, November 10, to discuss the continuation of Israeli bombings in Gaza.
Saudi Arabia is going to host another meeting with representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Saturday, in which Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will also attend.
An Emirati newspaper reported that the foreign ministers of the member states of the Arab League have drafted a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. This resolution calls for consultations to present proposals regarding a ceasefire to Israel and the United States.
Saturday’s meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will focus on the discussion of ways to stop the Israeli bombings and establish a ceasefire.
Ebrahim Raisi’s trip to Saudi Arabia will be the first visit of the president of Iran to Saudi Arabia after the normalization of relations between the two countries with the mediation of China.
This meeting will be held in a situation where the number of victims of the attacks of the Zionist regime in Gaza has reached 11 thousand 78 martyrs and 27 thousand 490 wounded. Among these martyrs, 4,506 are children, 3,27 are women, and 678 are elderly.
