“Hayashi Yoshimasa”, Tokyo will freeze assets belonging to the three and impose sanctions on payments and capital transactions, Tokyo’s chief cabinet secretary said on Tuesday. Without announcing them, he claimed that it is believed that these people were involved in the October 7 attack by Hamas on the occupied territories and that they are in a position to use the money for such similar attacks in the future.
In October, Japan also imposed sanctions against nine people and one company due to their alleged connection with Hamas.
