In his second visit to Yerevan after more than a year and in a meeting with the Armenian authorities, the Minister of Foreign Affairs once again emphasized the desire of the Islamic Republic of Iran to establish lasting peace in the South Caucasus.

According to the reporter of Fars news agency’s foreign policy group, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amirabdollahian, on Wednesday, the 6th of January, for the second time after assuming this position and after one year and two months of travel. After this meeting, the diplomatic corps returned to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where a joint press conference of the two foreign ministers was held.
