“If Canada does not cancel its customs duties, we will increase the customs duties of imported cars from the country next month,” the US President added. Customs duties of steel and aluminum import from Canada are 2 % since Wednesday (with a 5 % increase today).
Donald Trump added: Canada should immediately cancel its tariffs on American goods.
It is worth noting that after the US government’s customs tariff on some of Canada’s imported goods, Ottawa had also tackled tariffs.
