Fayez al-Duwairi: Joint Resistance Operation Was a Turning Point in Gaza War
According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Fayez al-Duwairi, a regional strategic analyst, emphasized that yesterday’s combined operation by Hamas resistance forces in the Hayy al-Tuffah area marks a turning point in the course of clashes in Gaza.
He stated that this was the first operation as the resumption of war in Gaza over the past month, resulting in an Israeli military vehicle being destroyed by a mine explosion, followed by Zionist rescue forces being targeted with intercepting missiles and ambushes by resistance fighters.
Noting that one Zionist was killed and five others were wounded in this operation, he stressed that it highlights the expansion of resistance tactics on the battlefield.
Al-Duwairi added that this operation occurred amid changes in managing Gaza conflict strategies following Yoav Gallant’s appointment as new chief of staff for Israel’s military leadership.
He concluded that these shifts indicate political motives behind prolonging hostilities—primarily aimed at saving Netanyahu and his coalition—and clarified that Israel’s war lacks strategic objectives or clear military goals but instead operates within a vicious cycle.
Al-Duwairi further asserted Israel seeks forced displacement rather than eradicating Hamas while dismissing related claims as illogical.
