Azerbaijani President Sends Condolence Letter to iranian Counterpart over Shahid Rajaei Port Explosion
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed condolences to his Iranian counterpart following the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port.According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Trend news Agency, Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, sent a letter to Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, offering sympathy over the blast at Shahid Rajaei Port.
In his message, President Aliyev stated: “mr.President, we are deeply saddened by reports of casualties and numerous injuries resulting from the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas. On behalf of myself and the peopel of Azerbaijan, I extend condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, and all Iranians.”
Ilham Aliyev further added: “I wish a swift recovery for those injured.”
