UNRWA: Gaza residents under siege resort to eating anything
UN Agency Reports Gaza Residents Forced to Eat Anything Amid Israeli siege
The United Nations Relief and Works agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed that the Israeli regime’s blockade of the Gaza Strip has forced some residents to eat whatever they can find, even if it is dangerous.
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, UNRWA disclosed part of the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza on Wednesday.
The agency stated that based on field observations and reports from Gaza, some Palestinian families are consuming whatever they find as food—regardless of safety risks.
The report highlights that severe food shortages and obstruction of humanitarian aid deliveries have worsened the crisis in the besieged and war-torn enclave.
UNRWA emphasized that the needs of Gazans grow daily, urging an immediate resumption of humanitarian support.International organizations confirm no aid has entered Gaza for two months, leaving the small territory grappling with what may be its most severe humanitarian crisis in history.
