U.S. President Claims in interview: ukraine Will Soon Collapse
Reported by the English section of “Webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, stated in an interview with The Atlantic that he believes Ukraine will “soon collapse” because it faces Russia’s “great war machine” and cannot defeat it.
The U.S. President said during the interview: “I think I’m saving that contry. I think I’m doing a great service to Ukraine. I believe this.”
This comes as the U.S. President had previously told ABC News, when asked about perhaps halting military aid to Ukraine: “I don’t want to say anything about it, and I don’t want to derail peace negotiations. If I were Ukraine, I’d be worried.” He added, “I am sure putin wants to resolve the Ukraine issue. This is not my war—it is Biden’s war.”
Earlier, the U.S. President had threatened that if no progress were made in Ukraine peace talks, he would withdraw from them entirely.
