Ukraine to sign mineral agreement with US in coming hours
A knowledgeable source in the office of the Ukrainian president announced that a mineral agreement between Ukraine and the United States will be signed in the coming hours.
According too the English section of “webangah News Agency“ citing Mehr News Agency,an informed source in the Ukrainian president’s office told Kyiv Independent that Ukraine is ready to sign a mineral agreement with the U.S.
The media outlet reported that this agreement will be signed by both countries within hours.
The source stated that the final version of the agreement includes a 50-50 investment structure between the two nations and contains “very good details.”
Media reports indicate that the mineral deal is set to be signed later today, local time, by Ukraine’s Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Meanwhile, NewsMax reported: The mineral agreement between the United States and Ukraine is expected to be finalized today…The agreement was signed in Washington by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Ukraine’s Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.
This comes as Ukraine’s Prime Minister had previously stated that Ukraine and the United States were finalizing the details of a mineral agreement, which would be signed in the near future.
It is worth noting that Trump has repeatedly claimed he would reclaim funds sent by Washington to Kyiv under the pretext of aid and with the aim of escalating tensions against russia.
