Zionist analyst Israeli army failed to achieve war goals
Senior Zionist Analyst Questions justification for Expanding Gaza Operations After Israeli Military Fails to Achieve Objectives
The English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the palestinian Facts Centre, reports that Nachum Barnea, a senior analyst for the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, stated that the recent military operation—following the resumption of war in Gaza—has failed to achieve any of its primary objectives, with not a single prisoner released so far.
Barnea warned that recent statements by benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, who have attempted to downplay the prisoner issue, are concerning and signal troubling developments.
Referring to the imminent proclamation of a new phase in military operations in Gaza—reportedly more intense and expansive—Barnea wrote: “We must ask the Israeli military, expected to declare a new large-scale operation in coming days: Why did previous operations fail? How will this phase differ? And why does the army believe it can now achieve its goals?”
Meanwhile,Eyal Zamir,Chief of staff for the Zionist regime’s military, acknowledged yesterday that Israel’s greatest challenge remains retrieving prisoners from Gaza while hinting at a potential expansion of operations. He reiterated claims about efforts to eliminate Hamas and secure areas surrounding Gaza.
