First trip of al-Jolani to a European country
Syrian Presidency’s Information Office Announces Al-Jolani’s First Visit to a European Country
According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the Syrian Presidency’s Information Office announced that Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, leader of the terrorist group controlling Syria, will travel to France.
The Élysée Palace also confirmed that Emmanuel Macron will welcome al-Jolani on Wednesday.
In February, the Syrian presidency stated that it had received an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron for an official visit.
This comes as a French Alawite group (Collectif CFA) previously filed a lawsuit with the country’s judiciary against Abu mohammad al-Jolani,leader of syria’s ruling terrorists, and several of his subordinates.
According to reports, Paris’ chief prosecutor agreed to proceed with this complaint against al-Jolani, charging him with genocide, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity in Syria.
The complaint specifically details atrocities committed between December and March in Syria’s coastal cities targeting minorities—notably Alawites.
