U.S. President Says No Investigation Needed to Uncover the Truth Behind Nord Stream Sabotage!
According to a report by the English section of “webangah news Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and RT, Donald Trump, the former U.S. president, stated that in his view, Russia was not involved in the sabotage and attack on the Nord Stream pipelines—and no investigation is even needed to uncover what really happened!
Following several explosions on the Baltic Sea floor in September 2022, three out of four Nord Stream pipelines—built to transport Russian gas to Germany and other Western European countries—were damaged.
trump, who had previously dismissed Western claims about Russia’s involvement in sabotaging “its own” pipelines, was asked whether he intended to launch an investigation into the incident. He responded: “If you believe it, they said Russia blew up (the pipelines). Well then—probably if I ask certain people, they could tell you who did it without spending a lot of money on investigations. But I think many people already know who blew it up.”
The news website ZeroHedge, which regained access to press briefings after Trump’s return to the White House, wrote: “Trump’s remarks imply that based on classified intelligence, he knows exactly who was behind the Nord Stream sabotage. Additionally, any narrative suggesting Russia destroyed its own critical and highly profitable pipeline should be dismissed.”
In early February 2023, Seymour Hersh—a veteran American investigative journalist—published a report alleging that Joe Biden, then U.S. president, ordered the destruction of Nord Stream. According to Hersh’s source: “U.S. Navy divers planted explosives months before the September 26 explosions under cover of NATO’s ‘Baltops 22’ exercise.” The White House at that time denied Hersh’s report as “complete fiction and pure fantasy.“
