Venezuelan President says Zionist Regime Seeks to “Destroy the Palestinian Peopel”
The english section of “webangah News Agency“, citing Mehr news Agency and TeleSUR, reports that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro referenced a recent UNICEF report on malnutrition affecting tens of thousands of children in Gaza, stating that the Zionist regime has “launched a war to destroy the Palestinian people.”
The Latin American terrestrial and satellite TV network, based in Caracas, quoted Maduro: “This is a war of destruction—the destruction of the Palestinian people. Anyone who remains silent today in the face of this devastating war against children and all palestinian families will forever be complicit in one of history’s most heinous crimes.”
He added that this is “a crime against the right of Palestinians to their sacred land, peace, life, independence, and an autonomous state as established by all United Nations resolutions.”
According to UNICEF’s report, due to the severe blockade imposed by the Zionist regime’s army on Gaza for over 60 days—preventing food, water, and humanitarian aid from entering—approximately 60,000 children in Gaza are suffering from malnutrition.
This comes as Benjamin Netanyahu,Prime minister of the Zionist regime yesterday convened members of his security cabinet to discuss a new phase in Gaza’s war and potential resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries into besieged territory.
