Russian Defense Ministry Claims Ukraine Has Violated Temporary Ceasefire Agreement 488 Times
According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Russia’s Interfax news agency reported that Ukraine has violated the temporary ceasefire agreement 488 times within just a few hours of its announcement.
The Russian Defense Ministry also stated that it had gained control over the Troitsky area in Donetsk before the temporary ceasefire between the two sides took effect.
Additionally,Russia’s TASS news agency,quoting the Defense Ministry,claimed that Ukrainian forces attempted twice to cross into Russian territory near the kursk region.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s order for a three-day ceasefire with Ukraine came into effect today (Thursday). The Kremlin framed this move as a “test” of Kyiv’s readiness for peace—while Ukraine dismissed it as a “ridiculous spectacle.”
