According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Bloomberg reported on discussions between european and American officials regarding the war in Ukraine.The report states that informed sources, who chose to remain anonymous, revealed that senior European officials are negotiating with the Trump administration to finalize a 30-day temporary ceasefire agreement in Ukraine. under this agreement,if Vladimir Putin refuses to cooperate,new sanctions will be imposed against Russia.
The proposal has not yet been finalized, and its progress depends on the U.S. stance. The U.S. has called for a one-month unconditional ceasefire, requiring both Russia and Ukraine to commit to direct negotiations.U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on social media this week: “If the ceasefire is violated, America and its allies will impose further sanctions against Russia.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Friday that European leaders plan to gather in Ukraine on Saturday. Speaking via video conference at a military summit in Norway, Zelenskyy did not name the participating countries.
