Indian and Pakistani Military Operation Commanders held Telephone Consultations.
According to the English section of the webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and CNN, the military operation commanders of India and Pakistan held a phone conversation on Monday.
So far,no details have been released regarding the topics discussed by the military officials of the two countries. However, media outlets assess this dialogue as a positive step toward reducing tensions between Islamabad and New delhi.
Tensions escalated between new Delhi and Islamabad following last month’s attack on a group of tourists in Pahalgam, located in Indian-administered Kashmir, which resulted in 26 deaths.
India has accused it’s neighboring country of “cross-border terrorism,” while Pakistan has denied any involvement in the incident.
