Sheikh Naim Qassem: Syria must remain united; resistance will never be isolated
Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, in a speech marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Mustafa Badreddine, known as sayyed Zulfiqar, stated: Syria must remain united; we call on the Syrian people to prevent Israel from achieving its goals.
According to a report by the English section of “Webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Manar, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, spoke on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Mustafa Badreddine (known as sayyed Zulfiqar), a commander of Hezbollah, and emphasized that Syria must remain united.
the Secretary-General extended his condolences and congratulations to Badreddine’s honorable family, the people of resistance, and all loved ones on this anniversary. He mourned this loss alongside all martyrs in occupied Palestine,proud Lebanon,joyful Yemen,Iraq,and dignified Iran.
He added that Sayyed Zulfiqar went to Syria for resistance and for the path of resistance, leading to its emergence—his mission was never part of any internal conflict. Sayyed Mustafa Badreddine operated under the leadership of Sayyed hassan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him).He was a politically and strategically aware individual, Martyr Sayyed Mostafa Badreddine.
Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized: We strongly condemn Israel’s aggressions against Syria and call on the Syrian people to prevent Israel from achieving its objectives there. We want Syria to remain united.
He further added: Gaza has exposed and shamed this usurping regime, which has committed genocide and systematically starved the people as March. The resistance has prevented Israel from imposing humiliating agreements on Lebanon, achieving its objectives in the country, and executing its schemes. Sheikh Qassem, in his remarks regarding Lebanon’s municipal and local council elections, stated: “the municipal and local council elections reflect the Lebanese people’s eagerness to rebuild their country. We were among the first to emphasize holding them on schedule.”
He added: “In manny cities, particularly in Jabal Lebanon, we achieved successes through cooperation with the Amal Movement, especially when striving to reach agreements.”
Congratulating Yemen for Pushing Back Against the U.S.
In another part of his speech, Sheikh Qassem congratulated Yemen on its victory, saying: “Yemen, by triumphing over America, remains a beacon of light and a steadfast supporter of Palestine.”
He stressed that Yemen successfully forced the U.S. to halt its aggression while reaffirming Yemen’s commitment to its stance against the occupying regime.
