Sanaa Airport in Yemen reopened
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah News, Sana’a International Airport reopened to foreign flights this morning.
The report states that the first flight to land at the airport originated from Jordan, operated by Yemen Airways, carrying 136 passengers.
Sana’a Airport was one of the targets of Zionist fighter jets on May 6. In this terrorist attack, Israel destroyed the waiting hall, runway, and six aircraft stationed at the airport, halting operations for nine days. Sana’a Airport is the only operational airport in areas controlled by Yemen’s government (supported by Ansarullah). Following a ceasefire agreement between Yemen and the Saudi-led coalition,it now hosts 2 to 4 daily round-trip flights to jordan or Egypt.
Meanwhile, residents of Sana’a—Yemen’s capital—joined massive protests today at Sabaeen Square after participating in yesterday’s million-person marches across multiple cities. The demonstration was titled “Confronting Genocide and Starvation.”
