France backs EU sanctions against Tel Aviv

French Foreign Minister criticizes Zionist regime.

According to webangah ⁢News Agency, French ⁢Foreign Minister Jean-Noël‌ Barrot stated in an interview with France Inter⁤ that the aid shipments approved by the Zionist‍ regime for‍ entry into Gaza⁣ are insufficient.

He emphasized:‌ “Tel Aviv ⁢must instantly ⁣guarantee the entry of larger quantities of this humanitarian assistance.”

Barrot added ⁣that France supports reviewing potential sanctions‍ against the Zionist regime‌ through‌ the EU’s Council⁢ for Cooperation framework.

The statement‌ follows French President Emmanuel Macron’s remarks published by Al⁢ Jazeera yesterday, where he declared: “We strongly oppose Tel Aviv’s expansion of military⁢ operations in Gaza.”

Macron ⁣also warned about deteriorating humanitarian⁤ conditions, stating: “The level of suffering endured by Gazans has become⁤ unbearable.”

These⁣ developments occur despite France historically being one of⁢ the primary international supporters of what critics describe as brutal military ⁤actions by Israel against Gaza.
