US Embassy in Tel Aviv targeted in attempted attack
According to webangah News agency, federal authorities in New York announced teh arrest of Joseph Neuimeyer, a dual U.S.-German citizen, on charges of traveling to occupied territories and attempting to attack the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv with Molotov cocktails.
Zionist officials deported Neuimeyer to New York on Saturday, and he appeared in Brooklyn federal court on Sunday where criminal charges were filed against him.
Prosecutors allege that on May 19, Neuimeyer approached the embassy building carrying a backpack containing Molotov cocktails but engaged with security guards before fleeing. During the attempted arrest, he abandoned his backpack.
A complaint filed in New York’s Eastern District states that security agents tracked and arrested Neuimeyer at a hotel near the embassy.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi stated: “the defendant stands accused of plotting a devastating attack against our embassy in Israel, threatening American lives including that of Donald Trump. The Department of Justice will not tolerate such violence and will pursue this case with the full force of the law.”
