According to webangah News Agency, Russian Air Force Major Zaur Gurtziyev was killed on Thursday when an explosion occurred near a residential building in Stavropol.
The report states that Gurtziyev had overseen Russian airstrikes on Mariupol, Ukraine, including the bombing of the city’s theater.
The blast, caused by an unidentified individual throwing a grenade, resulted in two fatalities.
