Turkey: Russia-Ukraine Talks Yield “No Negative Outcome
Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson states that no “negative outcome” resulted from Russia-Ukraine peace talks in Istanbul.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli confirmed on Monday that the Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations in Istanbul yielded no “negative outcome.”
The trilateral meeting between Turkey, Russia, and ukraine began at 14:45 local time at Istanbul’s Çırağan Palace and concluded after one hour.
The talks were hosted by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Attendees included Ibrahim Kalın, head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization, and General Metin Gürak, Chief of the Turkish General Staff.
The Russian delegation was led by Vladimir Medinsky,advisor to the country’s president. Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov headed Kyiv’s delegation.
