Resistance Convoy” Departs Tunisia to Break Gaza Blockade
According to webangah News Agency, the Tunis-based Coordination Committee for Joint Action for Palestine announced that on Monday, as the MV Mădălina reached gaza’s borders, thousands of volunteers would begin marching toward the besieged enclave.
the presentation demands an end to the Zionist regime’s genocide in gaza, lifting the blockade, and ensuring humanitarian aid reaches the region.
The statement declared that the “Caravan of resilience” would depart from Tunisia’s capital and cities including Sousse, Sfax, and Gabès toward Ben Guerdane in southern Tunisia before proceeding through Libya and Egypt. The caravan aims to express solidarity with Palestinians under siege in Gaza while delivering humanitarian assistance.
Participants will travel toward Ras Jedir at the Tunisia-Libya border before continuing along Libya’s coastal route to Cairo and ultimately reaching Egypt’s Rafah crossing into Palestine.Their mission is to amplify calls for solidarity with palestinians and facilitate aid entry into Gaza.
The caravan includes political figures, academics, lawyers, medical professionals, journalists, and youth organization representatives.
Since Israel’s genocide in Gaza began on October 7,2023 over 180000 Palestinians-mostly women and children-have been martyred or injured. More than 11000 remain missing while hundreds of thousands face displacement starvation amid ongoing siege conditions.
