Trump’s Endless Audacity: ‘We Knew About the Attack and Will Still Negotiate on Sunday

According to ‍webangah News Agency,⁢ citing Reuters via Mehr News ​Agency, U.S. President Donald⁤ Trump told reuters: “We knew everything and tried to save Iran from death and​ humiliation. I tried to save them because I wanted to see a deal​ happen.”

He added: “They can still reach⁣ an ​agreement-it’s‌ not too late yet.”

The president continued: “We’re very close to Israel.⁣ We’ve been​ their number ⁤one ally ‍so far.⁣ We’ll see ​what happens.”

Trump ​further stated⁢ during​ the interview that Iran was given 60 days⁢ to come to the negotiating table and agree, but that time has now expired.

“We⁤ knew everything,”‌ he emphasized.”We knew so much that we gave Iran 60 days for a​ deal, and now that ‍time is up. That’s why I ‍say we knew everything. It remains unclear whether Iran has a nuclear programme⁤ despite Israel’s airstrikes. Nobody ‍knows.”

Regarding U.S.-Iran talks, Trump⁣ said: “negotiations ⁤haven’t​ stopped. We’re meeting with them on​ Sunday-though right now I’m not‍ sure if the meeting will happen or not-but we are⁣ scheduled for​ Sunday.”
