Zionist Analyst: Tel Aviv Was Unprepared for Gaza War; Our Equipment Is Scarce and Outdated
according to webangah News agency,Zionist military analyst avi Ashkenazi told the Israeli newspaper Maariv that Netanyahu’s cabinet has suffered a heavy defeat in managing the Gaza war after 628 days, with 1,905 fatalities remaining unresolved. “We lack clear objectives in the Gaza war,” he stated.
Ashkenazi added: “Tel Aviv will not achieve victory in Gaza-instead, it is sinking into Gaza’s quagmire. Our forces have paid a heavy price in recent days, with 20 soldiers killed sence the start of this month alone. The Israeli army was unprepared for a prolonged two-year war against Gaza. We were not ready to confront Hamas’s military capabilities, their underground tunnel network, or the resistance of Gazan civilians.”
The analyst acknowledged that Israel’s military faces shortages of modern equipment and has been forced to rely on outdated hardware from the 1950s. “The recent ambush in Khan Younis and the killing of seven soldiers confirms this reality,” he said.
