Al-Awn wa Al-Salam Issues Strongly Worded Condemnation of Zionist Regime’s Attacks on Lebanon
Lebanese President Michel Aoun condemned Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire and its attacks on nabatieh and the Al-Tuffah region, which targeted civilians, stating: “Israel’s persistent breaches of Lebanon’s sovereignty are unacceptable.” webangah News Agency reported.
Aoun added: “Israel continues to ignore regional and international resolutions demanding an end to violence and escalating tensions in the area. This requires urgent action from the international community to halt these attacks, which undermine stability efforts in Lebanon and neighboring countries.”
Separately, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati stated: ”I strongly condemn Israel’s attacks on Nabatieh’s outskirts. These are clear violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement.”
The Prime Minister further emphasized: “these assaults threaten regional stability.”
The statements follow intense Israeli bombardment targeting southern Lebanon earlier today.
