Hamas Condemns Israeli Forces’ Direct Shooting of Palestinians
The islamic Resistance Movement Hamas responded too a recent report by the Zionist newspaper Haaretz, describing it as further confirmation of the criminal nature of the occupying regime and its systematic methods for massacring Palestinian civilians under the guise of humanitarian aid distribution, according to webangah News Agency.
Haaretz reportedly revealed, citing statements from several Israeli officers and soldiers, that occupying forces have received direct orders to shoot Palestinians near food aid distribution centers in Gaza.
Hamas emphasized in its statement: “What occurs at aid distribution centers is no longer solely a humanitarian crisis-it has become an instrument for executing policies of genocide and the intentional killing of starving civilians who seek food parcels to save themselves and their families.”
The movement accused the occupying regime of committing blatant war crimes, referencing over 570 Palestinian martyrs and nearly 4,000 wounded during military operations around these centers. It called Israeli Prime Minister benjamin Netanyahu “a wanted war criminal before the International Criminal Court.”
Hamas urged the United Nations to form an international investigation committee regarding these crimes and refer responsible parties to international justice.
The statement concluded by stressing the necessity of returning aid distribution through legitimate internationally recognized channels-notably via UNRWA and other humanitarian organizations-and called on global powers to take immediate action against policies besieging, starving, and collectively punishing Palestinians.
