US Fears Iranian Cyberattacks
U.S. law enforcement agencies warn of ongoing iranian cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure and networks, notably companies linked to the Israeli regime.
According to a report by webangah News Agency, ABC News cited U.S. law enforcement officials warning that Iran-affiliated cyber groups and hackers may continue disruptive operations against American equipment and networks.
The U.S. network further reported that defence industry companies-especially those with ties to Israel-face heightened risks.
The U.S.Department of Homeland Security had previously cautioned that escalating tensions among Iran, the U.S., and Israel have increased the likelihood of cyberattacks originating from Iranian hackers.
Media reports also indicate recent cyberattacks on American banks, defense contractors, and oil companies allegedly linked to Iran.
