US Fears Iranian Cyberattacks

U.S. ‍law enforcement agencies warn of⁢ ongoing ⁢iranian cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure and networks, notably ⁤companies linked to the Israeli regime.

According to a report by webangah News Agency,‌ ABC News cited U.S. law enforcement officials warning that⁢ Iran-affiliated cyber groups and hackers ‌may continue disruptive operations against American equipment ⁣and networks.

The ‍U.S. network​ further reported that defence‌ industry companies-especially those with ⁢ties ‍to Israel-face heightened risks.

The U.S.Department ⁤of Homeland Security had previously cautioned that escalating tensions among Iran, the U.S., and Israel have increased the likelihood of cyberattacks originating ⁤from Iranian hackers.

Media reports also indicate recent cyberattacks on American banks, defense contractors, and oil companies allegedly linked to Iran.
